Healthy Baby & Beyond 2020 to be hosted this Friday by Rolla Fire & Rescue and Phelps County Child Advocacy Network

ROLLA, MISSOURI- for immediate release- Friday, September 18 th PhelpsCounty Advocacy Network (PCCAN) will be c0-hosting the Healthy Baby & BeyondEvent for 2020 with Rolla Fire & Rescue. The event will be held from 11 AM to 5:30 PMin the Eugene E. Northern Community Hall building at 400 N Main Street, Rolla, MO65401. Due to circumstances involving COVID-19, the event will be held as a drive-thrufor the health and safety of guests and volunteers. Number of guests are limited, soplease reserve your spot by contacting Rolla Fire & Rescue at 573-464-3989, or bysending them a message on their Facebook page.

PCCAN and Rolla Fire & Rescue are excited to announce that the first 200 people willreceive free diaper bags, generously donated by Phelps County Bank. There will also bedrawings for many family-friendly prizes. In addition, free car seats and safe cribs willbe available to families that meet the determined need requirements.

This fun, free, and educational event has been serving local families for over 10 years.However, due to COVID-19, many of the families PCCAN assists are in extra need ofsupport this year. PCCAN and Rolla Fire & Rescue encourage community members toget the word out about this helpful event to ensure local families benefit from these cost-free services.

Missouri Care- A Wellcare Company, Phelps County Bank, Prevention Consultants ofMissouri, Phelps/ Maries County Health Department, and Infant Loss Resources havealso put time, effort, and resources into this initiative.
